I’m a painter, and I’m interested in how we see things. Tiny details that could have been so easily missed, but for some reason caught your eye and led to something bigger. I want to get at that with my paintings, the capturing of a fleeting moment that could have very easily gone unnoticed.

I’m currently finishing up my senior thesis project, and preparing to display it in an exhibition opening at the Elon University Art Building on May 8th. My thesis is called “The Little Things”, and is about looking past the representational image of a painting and into all the abstract marks that it’s made of.
